I am trying to find answers from blogger forums.

I have a question out to a blogger forum now to try to get an answer for the pop ups when you try to comment. Hopefully they will be able to help. I am so sick of this happening. You guys shouldn't have to get this when you post comments to my posts. I value your comments.

Nature is wonderful!

I "found" a park near me that I wish I would have checked out sooner. Now I know to check it out in the different seasons. It is bigger then I thought it would be. 46 acreas. Not huge by any means, but very nice. Is does seem huge though when the temps are in the 20's. I have seen a lot of birds the 3 times i have gone there and i only found this park late last week. I am obcessed. This little blue jay is all puffed up to keep the cold away. See how he tucked in his little feet? The park is called Sherwood Forest Park. It is in Ashwaubenon Wi. Actually on the border of Green Bay and Ashwaubenon.

Can you see her? This doe was in the open. But my camera wasn't turned on. :(
As I was turning it on she heard the sound and walked into the brush. She just stood there watching me. Peek a boo. I can see you. We stood like that for awhile and then walked farther back into the brush. How can anything this big be so quiet!

This is one of I think 3 bridges. The walking paths follow a creek. There is also a couple of boardwalks. Everything is nicely kept up.

Here is a cardinal just munching away on berries. I think I might print this one and make a christmas card for my mom. She loves carinals.

This huge wasp nest was found at Voyager Park in Depere. I find them interesting.

This sea gull and pelican are facing off over a fish. You can see it right in front of the gull.

And last but certainly not least is this sunset I was blessed to see. I went out into the country hoping to get some sunset pictures. As the time went on I thought that the colors weren't going to be so great...and then this happened! I am so glad that I took the drive out there. Not that the country is so far from my house. lol. I can drive for 10 minutes and be outside town. lol. This was about an half an hour away. But I do hate driving in the dark. So kind of scarey coming home. I saw two deer. Luckily they ran back into the fields. Hunting season here so they are moving alot at night.
Today is my birthday. So I am just being lazy this morning. I have to go to work this afternoon though. Have a great day. Hugs, Teresa

Birds were busy yesterday.

The birds must have known that today would be so dark and so very windy! Like this red bellied woodpecker they were making full use of the feeders.

I love the colors and patterns on her. She is wearing such happy colors. Then to add zebra stripes. How much better can it get then that!

Then there is this little downey woodpecker. We have been seeing her a lot. These are such busy birds. Don'
t mind the lock on the suet feeder. If we don't lock it the squirrels just carry the whole block away!

Doesn't he look happy? Actually he looks like he was out on a bender! So goofy!

This is a male downey woodpecker. These guys are quite the actrobats!

This little red-breasted nuthatch was also making the rounds. Let's see suet, mixed seed feeder. He just couldn't make up his mind. So a little of this and a little of that.
House finches are still around. Haven't seen many though. Just another little splash of color to brighten our landscape.
I am always happy to see the birds showing up. They seems to be migrating now and we see more of the colorful ones at this time of year. Next I will show some of the birds that we saw in our travels. Of course they are from Wisconsin. We don't go to far. Especially with having dogs. Now that we have a new(er) puppy we can only be gone for a certain amount of time. Give or take of course. No long trips. But they are worth it.
My blog seems to be giving me fits today. Some captions under and some on the side. I am not sure what I want to do about my blog. Which is why I haven't written a post for the last couple of weeks. People are still getting pop-ups when trying to comment. ( I hate this. Hate you having to put up with that).  I haven't figured out a way to stop this. I HATE to start over with a new blog, but I may have to. Will the problem follow me over there? I don't know. Any thoughts on this? Hugs, Teresa
